Eclipse Holdings Limited (Eclipse Insurance) is one of Uganda’s oldest and most trusted insurance brands, founded in 1964 as the National Insurance. Following its privatization in 2005 and public listing in 2010, Eclipse became the first and only insurance company listed on the Uganda Securities Exchange.

In 2014, Eclipse restructured into a holding company with two subsidiaries—Eclipse General Insurance and Eclipse Life Assurance—ensuring focused and specialized service delivery. Today, both companies continue to uphold Eclipse’s long-standing reputation for reliability, innovation, and excellence in the insurance industry.
